Well I broke my laptop, It stopped working, and I punched it... Felt stupid, but it's not like it was gonna work anyways... Plus it was pretty old, from 02 I believe?

how funny i just bought a TB passport. Works good, and i have close to half full. Its about time i cleared my laptop up.

ccleaner-http://www.ccleaner.com/

clean, remove all pointless programs like tool bars ect. Then check your registry and fix any problems.

Defraggler- http://www.piriform.com/defraggler

defrag! defrag! defrag! this will take a bit with any cluttered comp.

avast!- http://www.avast.com/

Scan your computer for any virus.

All of these are free and work the best, did i miss anything guys?

a lot of people like avg, but i've never been a fan for whatever reason. So unless somebody makes a compelling case to switch from avast i will keep doing what i'm doing.

i figure that both work well since i've heard good about both and nothing bad. I have heard that companies such as norton actually profit off of anti-virus and virus business.

actually norton 360 is not bloated at all. or so I hear. I read that they improved its performace dramatically so it is no longer a resource hog. and I read this on a reputable non-biased review site (neowin.net).

Personally I use NOD32.
