I was thinking of buying a Craftsman 182pc set, and an ohm meter so i can get started... the set is like $175 on sale, should I get it?

look for a local Snap-On guy you will get what you pay for. for reference my brother has financed close to 50k from his Snap-On guy but that is a LOADED rolling tool box. The Snap-on guy might also have used tools that he is trying to sell. It never hurts to ask.

true. i don't wanna pay much. I may get off-brand shit. my friend said he's selling some of his old tools. they're off brand, but they lasted for industrial work.

if your working on cars

SNAP-ON or MAC

everything else is shit for working on cars if your a professional. but for your garage anything with a lifetime warranty is fine.

ive never had any issues with Kobalt or Husky. Snap-On is the BEST tools ive ever used. I dont have the money rigt now to pay for what Snap On Steve has yet. But ill proly call him up and see how much a cheap roller box is.

Craftsman isn't half bad. Only tool we had a problem with was the 3/8 ratchet bc the gears were worn down, and we got it replaced in 2 days...

I like snap on, but they're too expensive, and i was told by a pro to go with craftsman.

the big reason why snap on an mac are nicer to have is because they are thin. much easier to work on cars that way. snap on also has the best ratcheting wrenches.

no craftsmen is bad but if your making a career out of it. get something else.
